Copper Thieves Hit Construction Site Over Thanksgiving Weekend

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

Workers returning to a work site were shocked after finding $10,000 worth of copper had been stripped from their equipment.

Police said copper thieves stripped away specialized power cables from a work site on the 900 block of Resaca. The cables were part of a water pump.

Investigators believe the theft happened over the Thanksgiving weekend.
