Portland (Kiii sports)- The Gregory-Portland Wildcats have played a couple of statement games in the opening two rounds of the Class 4A football playoffs.

After burying Uvalde 67-27 in round one, G-P outscored Ray 70-42 in a Buc Stadium shootout. It's an indication that second-year coach, and G-P grad, Matt Anastasio has the Wildcats purring heading into Saturday night's third round match up against Leander Rouse.
