Scout Leader Dies in Head on Collision - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

A well known scout leader died in a head on collision Saturday night.

Department of Public Safety investigators said a car veered into the eastbound lane of FM 665 at around 9 p.m. and struck a sport utility vehicle driven by 49-year old John Beauregard.

Beauregard and the other driver, a 28-year old woman from Austin, were instantly killed.

Beauregard was a well known Boy Scout leader in the Coastal Bend and was the president of the South Texas Council, Boy Scouts of America.
