Woman Arrested for Stealing Hospital Supplies

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

A woman who allegedly stole hospital supplies is now sitting behind bars.

Police said they were called out to Bay Area Hospital at around 2 a.m., after employees observed Marsha McPherson taking medical supplies out of a crash cart. Officers found syringes, medical tape and several drugs inside her back pack.

McPherson was arrested and charged with theft and possession of a controlled substance.
