Bond Revoked for Stepmother of Six-Year Old Drowning Victim
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
A local woman on bail in connection with the recent drowning of her six-year old stepson had her bond revoked on Tuesday by District Judge Bobby Galvan.
The drowning happened in early October. 47-year old Laura Day was arrested on felony charges of child endangerment. The boy drowned while swimming near Bob Hall Pier. Day had reportedly removed the boy's life vest just moments before.
Day was released from jail after posting a $50,000 bond, but the judge said she violated a condition of that bond by going to La Palmera Mall last month. Word is, she will have to remain in jail for at least 90 days.
