Teen Stabs Mother at Laguna Apartments - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

A 17 year old is facing charges after police say he stabbed his mother with a kitchen knife.

It happened around 7AM Saturday morning at the Laguna Apartment complex.  

Investigators say the teen...who is mentally disabled...became angry when his mother wouldn't let him go to a volleyball game. He then grabbed a knife from the kitchen and stabbed her in the neck.

The 17 year old is being held at a mental institution, and faces charges. His mother is expected to be ok.
