Salvation Army Bell Ringers Take Part in Nationwide Competition
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
It is something the Salvation Army does every year at this time; the bell ringers outside shopping centers, collecting money to help those in need.
However, a couple of those volunteers are actually in a nationwide competition; a non-stop bell ringing challenge.
Ten people across the country are competing, and two of them are right here in Corpus Christi. Floyd Felan competed last year, and ringing his bell for more than 30 hours. Andrew Webb is competing for his first time this year.
Kiii News Reporter Jessica James went Live at the Wal-Mart on South Staples with one of the participants.
