Texas Society of CPA's Donates Van Full of Toys

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

The holiday spirit was alive and well Tuesday evening, as a group of local accountants donated toys to some needy kids here in Corpus Christi.

A van stuffed with toys were donated at Brewster Street Ice House, all courtesy of the local chapter of the Texas Society of CPA's. The group has been collecting toys for the last three weeks as part of their Counting on Santa campaign. The toys will be going to Catholic Charities, where they will be distributed to families that need them.

"Well I'm sure it's going to be the same like we had when we were little," said Natalie Klostermann of the Texas Society of CPA's. "Just the anticipation. The excitement. The wonderment. The Christmas spirit. Just knowing they are not forgotten."

As of right now, there is no final count as to how many toys were donated.
