Slick Roads, Unsafe Speeds Lead to Series of Accidents on I-37 - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

A little rain was all it took to cause a series of accidents on I-37 Friday.

The first accident took place just before 9 a.m. One accident resulted in a rollover, and from then on, there was one accident after another.

Investigators pointed out that drivers that encounter slick roads should slow down. Police say wet conditions and unsafe speeds were a factor.

Luckily, only one individual was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
