The Corpus Christi Police Department says that the man suspected of making terroristic threats to area Catholic Churches was apprehended in San Patricio County.

The threats were made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help, at 5830 Williams Drive, on Friday, causing the Catholic school next door to go on lockdown.

A spokesman for the Catholic Church of the Coastal Bend said that, despite his apprehension, they will leave it up to the justice system to decided what to do. The church said that their thoughts and prayers are to the suspect and his family.

The suspect was apprehended and taken to a mental health facility, at last report.
