CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
After 30 hours, the U.S. Coast Guard has suspended their search for a missing swimmer.
The Port Aransas Police Department received a call on Monday from someone stating that they saw a man far out in the Port Aransas jetties, waving his hands in the air while struggling. The caller then reported seeing the man go under and not re-surfacing.
The Coast Guard spent the last two days searching, and covered nearly 300 miles. No body was ever found.
