CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

Electrical equipment failure is to blame for a southside power outage that left 1,100 AEP customers, including Carroll High School, in the dark for almost two hours.

The outage also affected the traffic lights at Weber and Holly. Officers had to direct traffic for a while.

Despite the minor hiccups, power was fully restored at around 1:15 p.m.
