Kingsville Authorities Investigating Inmate Death

KINGSVILLE (Kiii News) -

Authorities in Kingsville are investigating the death of an inmate at the Kleberg County Jail. A 68-year old man was found unconscious in his cell during the lunchtime hour on Monday.

The man had been in jail since Dec. 9 on DWI charges. He apparently died in his sleep, but authorities are waiting for toxicology reports to confirm the cause of death.
