Police say a 16-year old tagger left behind $12,000 in damage at a vacant restaurant at Williams and Staples, a trailer on the 5700 block of SPID and on an overpass.

At around midnight, police were called out to the 5000 block of Staples, where the teen led them on a foot chase around Sunrise Mall. Officers had to use pepper spray to subdue him.

The 16-year old is at the Nueces County Juvenile Detention Center for graffiti and evading arrest.
