CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

If you are planning on heading out and having a few drinks on New Year's Eve, and finding yourself without a designated driver, there are a few options out there.

Green-N-Go Cabs is offering free cab rides from 9 p.m.-3 a.m. Just call 361-299-9999.

You can also get your car towed to your home. Apollo Towing is offering to do that for free, also from 9 p.m.-3 a.m. Just call 361-853-0003.

"A lot of people want a free ride, to get you home safe and sound," said Julie Tandy, office manager of Green-N-Go Cabs.

Tandy added that there might be a wait that night, but they advise to be patient. It is better to get home safe and sound rather than going straight to jail, or to the emergency room.
