Police Investigate Kidnapping on Southside Neighborhood

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) - Police are investigating a kidnapping of an 11-year old girl who was abducted off a southside street while riding her bicycle.

This all happening around 7:20 Thursday night in the 7000 block of Braesvalley Dr. near High Meadow Dr. The 11-year old girl was riding her bicycle with a 13-year old boy when a red 4-door SUV drove up to the girl. A man got out of the SUV, grabbed the girl and forced her into the vehicle. The 13-year old boy then released his dog and the dog attacked the man in the SUV.

That is when the SUV took off. Corpus Christi Police spread across the city's southside in search of the girl. The search stretched all the way to Padre Island.

That is where police located the little girl about an hour and half later. She was immediately taken to Driscoll Children's Hospital for evaluation

The suspects have not been caught. One suspect is described as a white man in his 20s wearing a red letterman jacket with a white circle on the chest.

Investigators believe two people were responsible for this crime.
