Posted: Updated:

Here is latest information from CCPD on the abduction of An 11 year old girl last night. Information this morning is that there were 3 white men, all with short hair and believed to be in their twenties, involved in the kidnapping at around 7:20p along Braesvalley Drive. The vehicle used in the abduction was a red or maroon SUV or van, or maybe an older model suburban, with a loud muffler.

Police say the suspect who actually grabbed the young girl was wearing a red "letterman" jacket with white sleeves and a patch or emblem on the chest. This is the man who police think may have suffered a dog bite when the girl's pet attacked the kidnapper.

The girl told police that the kidnappers referred to each other as Jacob, Sawyer and Lee.

Around 830pm last night the suspects released the girl on the beach. Police say she then walked to Seapines and Park Road 22, and flagged down a motorist for help. After being taken to Driscoll Children's Hospital, the girl was released to her family.

The Corpus Christi Police Department asks that anyone who may have any additional information about this crime to contact the Corpus Christi Police Detectives at 886-2841. Information may be provided anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 888-TIPS (8477) or online at www.888TIPS.com.
