Second Annual Diaper Drive to Benefit Military Families

Posted: Updated:
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

KIII-TV and the Corpus Christi Black Chamber of Commerce are teaming up for the second annual Diaper Drive, benefiting local USO families, from 5 a.m.-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan 17.

Many families struggle during stressful economic times, especially those who stay at home while their loved ones are away on active military duty.

As part of their annual Community Service Project, members of the Corpus Christi Black Chamber of Commerce, along with the local chapter of the National Black Police Association, will be at the Kiii-TV studios on Thursday, Jan. 17, asking the community to help reduce some of the burdens for these families.

We invite you to stop by and drop off packaged, disposable diapers and/or a monetary donation for this special effort. USO representatives and US Marines will be on site to collect all donations.

Anyone interested in volunteering and/or making contributions, please call 361-877-3634 or 361-815-3099.
