Wrong-Way Driver Arrested on DWI Charges

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

A wrong-way driver ended up in jail on a DWI charge after being spotted by police at around 4:15 a.m. Thursday.

Nicole Barrera, 21, was seen driving on the wrong side of the road down Gollihar, near Ayers. Police said she nearly hit a tow truck.

She was charged with DWI after police determined that she had a blood alcohol content of more than point 1.5, nearly twice the legal limit.
