IceRays 5 Odessa 4

Posted: Updated:

Corpus Christi (Kiii Sports) - Powered by 3 goals in the 2nd period, the Corpus Christi IceRays completed a weekend sweep of visiting Odessa on Saturday night with a 5-4 victory.

The win pushed the IceRays above .500 for the season at 15-14-2. Four of those wins have come at the expense of Odessa- but once again the visiting Jackalopes made things tough at times for the home team.

Beau Walker helped pad the IceRays scoring with his first goal since returning to the team from Sacred Heart College last month.

Corpus Christi will be at home again next weekend for two games against division-rival Texas.
