A man and woman are in critical condition after they were hit by a car at the beach.
According to police, the couple was laying in the sand near Packery Channel when they were hit...just before 1:00 AM. The driver didn't stop, police say, but the victims were able to give police a license plate.
Officers were able to track the driver down. He was picked up by the Port Aransas police department a few hours later.
Dahlton Osborn, 19 is charged with two counts of intoxication assault.
The victims were taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
