Homemade Bomb Explodes in Neighborhood - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

The sound of an explosion jolted the 900 block of Coral Place Saturday evening.

Police say around 5:30, someone drove by, lit an explosive device and threw it out their car window and drove off.

Thankfully, no one was hurt....police are still looking for the driver. A member of the bomb squad was called out to get rid of the device. The investigation will most likely be turned over to the ATF.
