One man has died from his injuries in a beach accident that happened over the weekend.   

41-year-old, Adam Reed, was struck by a car on the beach near the Packery Channel around 1 am, Saturday. The driver who hit Reed and his female companion took off. Police say they were able to locate the man in Port Aransas. 19-year-old Dahlton Osborn  faces charges of  intoxication assault and intoxication manslaughter.
