Good Samaritan Hit While Helping Crash Victim

A passerby pulls over to help a woman trapped in her car, and an SUV plows into his vehicle.

Police say around 7 AM Saturday, the driver of a red mustang lost control and hit the embankment along NPID, near Bear Ln. She was pinned inside of her vehicle. A good Samaritan saw the wreckage and went to help. His vehicle was hit by an SUV, according to police.

Investigators believe alcohol to be a factor in the first crash involving the mustang. The driver was taken to the hospital. Everyone is expected to be ok.
