CCPD Chief Floyd Simpson Joins Cadets in Exercise Routine
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
The cadets of the 71st police academy had a special guest taking part in their physical training session on Wednesday.
Police Chief Floyd Simpson joined the rest of the cadets in an exercise routine that included a half-mile run from the Corona Training Center to Stonegate Park, then sprints, and something called the "dirty dozen," a combination routine of pushups and running. A half-mile run back to the training center wrapped up the day's routine.
The chief said he is pleased to see the cadets working this hard, and just wanted to show his appreciation by taking part in Wednesday's session.
