Organizers Prepare for the Fundraising Color Me Rad Run

Posted: Updated:
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

If you are in the mood to get color-bombed, then get out your white shirts and get ready to hit the streets.

A very unique fundraising event is taking place this weekend along the Corpus Christi Bayfront. It's called the Color Me Rad run, and so far more than 6,000 runners have already registered for the popular race.

Organizers of Color Me Rad called the event a "tsunami of color."

"At the end of the race, everyone has a big color bomb party at that point," said Mark Avilar of the Ronald McDonald House.

All proceeds from the unique fundraiser go directly to the local Ronald McDonald House.
