It can be tough for the homeless to maintain a healthy lifestyle. With that in mind, over 50 Carroll High School students donated 150 hygienic kits to the Corpus Christi Metro Ministries.Items from the hygiene kits came from a donation run that started back in November of last year. Organizers praised the young teens for donating their time."It really teaches them leadership skills," said Nancy Bonilla, special projects manager for SERCO of Texas. "It's just really important for them in achieving their career goals."In addition, students received clothing items in the donation run, which will also be given to Metro Ministries.
