Police Searching for Burglary Suspect Near Cullen Middle School - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

Police were involved in a foot pursuit that began around 8:46 a.m. in the 900 block of Belmeade and Shamrock, just blocks away from Cullen Middle School.

They were responding to a call for a suspicious person in the area. When they attempted to make contact, the man fled on foot, leaving behind his bicycle and a backpack containing a car stereo and several CDs, which police believe may have been stolen.

Police are still searching for the suspect, who was described as a white male in his mid- to late-20s.
