Overnight Fire on Leopard Keeps Fire Crews Busy

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

Corpus Christi fire crews responded to an overnight blaze on the city's west side.

The blaze broke out just before three this morning on Leopard near Port.

Investigators say the flames started in a shed.

The cause of the fire is unknown. No one was injured.

    Two Edinburg Police Officers are recovering after they were shot Tuesday evening in La Joya as they attempted to serve a capital murder warrant. The suspect in the shooting, 29-year-old Joaquin Cibrian, was shot and killed following an exchange of gunfire with law enforcement. Cibrian was arrested in September of last year in Alice for allegedly using city equipment and materials to make extra cash. He was a city employee at the time.More >>
