Kingsville (kiii sports) - The Texas A&M-Kingsville baseball team won 3 of 4 games last weekend in the Astros in Action DII Baseball Tournament at Minute Maid Park in Houston.

The Javelinas hope to carry that momentum into a weekend of baseball at Whataburger Field as the host team of the Holiday Inn Emerald Beach Classic.

Coach Jason Gonzales thinks his experienced squad is now ready to compete for national recognition heading into Friday night's tournament opener.
