Moody Opens Softball Season With A Win

Corpus Christi (Kiii Sports) - The Moody softball team kicked off the 2013 season Monday night with an 11-2 win over Port Lavaca at chilly Cabaniss Field.

Moody, picked by some to become the first team from South Texas to make the State Tournament in June, got solid pitching from Brittany Martinez and key hits from almost everyone in the lineup.
