Police Arrest Suspect in Connection with Morgan Avenue Homicide - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

Corpus Christi Police Department investigators made a break in the city's fourth homicide this year.

Police investigators said they have arrested 29-year old Anthony Diaz in connection to a shooting that resulted in the death of Juan Ramirez Monday morning.

That shooting happened near a car wash at the corner of Morgan and 15th Street.

The victim was rushed to Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Diaz was arrested Wednesday afternoon on a traffic stop on Up River Road. He is now sitting behind bars on a $1 million bond.
