Church Day School Children Make Valentine's for Local Nurses

Posted: Updated:
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

On Valentine's Day, people find ways to show their love to friends and family; but the little ones at the day school of Church of Reconciliation took it a step farther.

They decided to show their love for some of the nurses in our community.

The kids made more than 40 personalized Valentine's Day cards to deliver
to nurses who care for mothers-to-be and newborns at Christus Spohn South.

The fun project for the kids meant letting their creative minds get to work and learning a special prayer for the Christus Spohn nurses who work to deliver babies safely into the world.

A local florist, Margaret Fratila, even donated flowers to accompany the special cards.
