United Rallies to Beat Ray 5-4

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii Sports) - Laredo United edged Ray 5-4 opening night of the 2013 high school baseball season.

United opened up with a run in the top of the first inning against Ray ace Rudy Trevino. The Texans counted to take a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the inning on a 2-rbi double by catcher Hank Hausman.

United would score the game's last run in the top of the 7th inning and then snuff out a bases-loaded rally to beat Ray 5-4.
