Eugenio's career in broadcasting began in 1992 in the Rio Grande Valley. He has held many positions, including Chief Photographer, Newsroom Manager, Editor, Assignments, Breaking News Photographer and a Live Truck Operator.

During Eugenio's time in South Texas, he traveled on special investigative assignments to Fresno, Ca., Miami, Fla., and Detroit, Mi. In November of 2009, he covered the Fort Hood shooting rampage. Special coverage stories earned him many awards, including 2004 Best News Coverage for "Sex in the Cells" and 2007 Edward R. Murrow Award for an investigative story on Medicare fraud. Eugenio also provided live coverage during Hurricane Ike in September of 2008. He was also on special assignment to provide coverage for President Obama's first Democratic (Denver, Co) and Republican (St.Paul, Mn.) conventions held in 2008.

After 23 years in the Rio Grande Valley, Eugenio decided it was time to move from the Pharr area to Corpus Christi to be near the beach. He is now proud to call Corpus Christi his new home.

Eugenio spends much of his free time at the beach with family, listening to the police scanner. He enjoys hanging out with friends, taking and editing photos, listening to the latest music and watching a good movie or the San Antonio Spurs on the big screen.
