Code Maroon issued on Texas A&M University campus

COLLEGE STATION, TX (KTRK) -- A Code Maroon was issued Wednesday afternoon for the campus of Texas A&M University.

The university-wide alert was issued at 12:25pm after an alleged bomb threat came in to Kyle Field. The university says the stadium and adjacent buildings will be closed for the remainder of the day.

The buildings evacuated include Read, GRW, Zone, W Kyle, Bright Athletics and Netum Steed.
