CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

A local artist hoping to get big in the music business held a meet and greet at Del Mar College on Thursday.

Corpus Christi native, singer and actress Lorissa Chapa was signing autographs and met with some her fans at the college. She was at the college to promote a play called "Scandalous," which will be held March 9 at the Selena Auditorium.

"Oh, this show is going to be very compelling," Chapa said. "Jealousy, greed, love and lust. It will definitely catch them by surprise at the end."

Chapa has recently been signed by Star Entertainment.
