Pedestrian Clipped by Truck while Walking in Crosswalk

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

A woman was struck by a pickup truck Friday afternoon in the 400 block of Carancahua. Police said she was in the crosswalk when she was clipped by the truck.

According to police, the driver apparently just didn't see the pedestrian in time. That driver got a ticket for failing to yield the right of way.

The victim was taken to Christus Spohn Shoreline with minor injuries.
