Beeville Police Arrest Suspect in Birdland Auto Burglaries

BEEVILLE (Kiii News) -

Police in Beeville said they have caught the person responsible for a string of recent auto burglaries in the area.

Officers arrested 29-year old Cruz Lopez on burglary theft charges Friday. Police think he pulled off a series of auto burglaries in a Beeville neighborhood called Birdland.

According to police, an observant neighbor noticed Lopez acting suspiciously in the area and called police.
