Beeville Motorcyclist Killed in Head-On Collision with Van - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

A head-on collision claimed the life of a Beeville resident early Sunday morning. The Department of Public Safety identified that man as 41-year old Randolph Bishop.

The accident happened just after 7:30 a.m. Sunday on U.S. Highway 181, three miles north of Beeville. Investigators said Bishop's motorcycle was struck head-on by a van traveling southbound, which had served into his lane to avoid a truck that had veered into the southbound lane.

There has been no word as to whether or not Bishop was wearing a helmet, or if charges will be filed.
