Monday's Wind-Related Mayhem Throughout the Coastal Bend

Posted: Updated:
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

A steady flow of images capturing Monday's mayhem caused by tropical storm-force winds in the Coastal Bend were coming into the newsroom.

The images captured various examples of the damages caused by pounding winds.

Facebook viewer Jeanette Moynihan send video of Kiewit employees over in Ingleside, who had to rush for cover as the wind swirled around them.

Then, Adrianna Jasmine Rodriguez provided us with pictures of the wind causing a huge dust storm out in Ingleside, leaving many motorists struggling to see.

In Corpus Christi, we found a tree uprooted at Texas and Lawnview, leaving some damage to a nearby home; and on Ayers, we found a fence that was blown down.

That is just a small part of the damage in our viewing area on Monday. Brush and structure fires also raged out of control.
