ROBSTOWN (Kiii News) -

A traffic stop for speeding led to a large drug bust in Robstown on Tuesday. During the stop, police found synthetic marijuana and a large amount of cash inside of the vehicle.

The driver, 19-year old Arthur Lopez, Jr., of Corpus Christi, was staying at the Robstown Motor Inn. A search of his room turned up more synthetic marijuana, as well as crack-cocaine.

"I mean, the crack-cocaine and the synthetic, that's some pretty dangerous drugs, and that's what's popping right now," said Isaac Deleon of the Robstown Police Department. "I'm just glad to get it off the streets, and it's good that it's off."

Lopez is facing multiple charges.
