BEE COUNTY (Kiii News) -
Department of Public Safety troopers were on the scene of an early-morning accident in Bee County Wednesday, which left one person dead.
It happened at around 6:30 a.m. along US Highway 59 at mile marker 710, just before the Live Oak County line. DPS troopers said three vehicles were involved in the accident.
Along with the one person who was killed, 40-year old Javier Melchor Gamez, three others were injured in the crash. One person was sent to the hospital via HALO Flight.
Gamez was wearing a seatbelt. We will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
