Students Get Medical Field Career Advice at TAMUCC - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

Some future doctors and nurses were getting some practical career advice on Thursday at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.

High school students from across the Coastal Bend were on campus Thursday for the 11th annual Future Health Professionals Conference. The students got a chance to meet with admissions counselors from area colleges and universities to talk about what they need to do now to prepare for a future medical career.

About 500 students in all took part in the event.
