Two car accident involving CCPD officer - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

CCPD officer was struck by a suspected drunk driver early Saturday morning. The driver of a white Chevy struck the CCPD officer's vehicle, while he was transporting another man suspected of driving under the influence. After the accident, the driver of the white chevy fled on foot. He was later apprehended by police and charged with intoxication assault. Both the driver of the Chevy and the officer were taken to Spohn Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
