CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

A 17-year old boy is fighting for his life tonight after he was hit by a car early Sunday morning. It happened at Ayers and Sunnybrook. Police say the 17-year old was walking home from work when he was hit by the vehicle just after two am. The teenager, who's been identified by family as Christian Carrillo was found lying along the road with massive head injuries. The car that hit him did not stop.

The victim's cousin, Amanda Jackson told 3 News, "he broke his neck, all his ribs, punctured his lung, and has serious brain injuries.  He's really on the line right now.  If your friend is acting weird or your friend has a broken windshield, call police.  If you don't know any information we really want prayers right now."

Police say at this point there are no leads in the case. If you saw anything or know who the driver is, call police or Crimestoppers at 888-TIPS.
