WASHINGTON, March 4, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A panel of state-level officials and experts will discuss how the Affordable Care Act is developing as it goes into effect state by state on Friday, March 8 at 10 a.m. While the ACA is a federal law, its implementation is taking a broad range of forms as state legislators, regulators and executives turn policy into practice. Health insurance marketplaces will launch open enrollment later this year, with states choosing among a federal program, a federal-state partnership or a state-operated program.

- Rep. George Keiser, R-N.D.: First elected to the North Dakota House of Representatives in 1993, he represents the 47th District. Keiser served as president of the National Conference of Insurance Legislators in 2012.
