While thousands of students are descending on our city, four local students are packing their bags.
These four ladies found out tonight which sister cities they will be traveling to later this year.
The Corpus Christi Sister City Committee selects several outstanding high school students and arranges the exchange program set for the summer time.
"I'm feeling pumped. This is great," Gabriela Diaz said. "I'm looking forward to the architecture, the language, and the food...Julia Childs, so hey!"
"You can go visit anytime, but I get to live with a family, so it will be different than any normal trip would be like," said Megan Turner.
Corpus Christi has sister cities in France, Taiwan and Japan.
