The celebration of Texas Public Schools Week continued on Tuesday, and at one southside campus, it was a real battle.
It was students versus faculty at the School of Science and Technology on Saratoga as they took part in a dodge ball tournament for students in fifth to eleventh grade.
The tournament was actually a fundraiser put on by student council to help purchase new equipment for their brand new gym. Teams had to pay an entry fee, and students could buy an all-day pass to attend the tournament.
As for who won, no final results have been reported yet; but we are told that a team of sophomores did upset one team of teachers.
