CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
The 17-year old Corpus Christi man struck by a hit and run driver remains in a medically induced coma this morning.
Meanwhile, investigators continue to look for the person who hit him.
Investigators say a maroon 2006 --2008 Toyota Tacoma crashed into Christain Carrillo while he was walking home from work at CiCii's Pizza Sunday.
Captain Mark Gutierrez says the truck suffered front end damage.
"We have a few leads that we're following up on we have gotten a couple of tips that have been called in," Gutierrez said. "There was a piece of evidence that was left at the scene that we're following up on."
The family does not have insurance.
The owners of CiCi's Pizza on Ayers and McArdle continue to accept donations to help the family with medical costs.
